    We as women wanted to be equal, Equal rights, understandably. But have we taken it too far? Equal doesn't mean independent, by definition, independent means not depending on another for livelihood or subsistence, self sufficient. Self sufficient makes sense, but not depending on another ultimately means, we are doing it alone and that doesn't make sense when it comes to building a life, a family. Saying I can do anything a man can do, is not the goal. To ...

  2. The more you know "SELF"

    Inner peace is an easy thing that all of us make hard. Inner peace is basically freedom of want and perfect contentment of life in its current state. It is about accepting the past, experiencing the present, and letting the future flow.

    The problem is, is that we all have this false visualization to what we believe the experience of inner peace to be, so we fight the characteristics of ourselves and our lives that we see as "wrong". What could be "wrong" is an ...

  4. Negative..........to..... ..POSITIVE

    Keep Your Own Negative Thoughts and Behaviors in Check

    If you do nothing else but focus on managing your own negative thoughts and behavior, you will come a long way towards remaining positive.

    A negative attitude is contagious, but a positive attitude is infectious as well.

    Hang out with positive people that encourage you to be your best self. Use positive affirmations to overcome negative self-talk. Express your GRATITUDE for all the positive things in your life.
  5. Constant core of confidence.....

    I have a very high self esteem. It took me years to get there! One trait that I do not possess is jealousy! I know you don’t believe me, but it’s true.Instead of envy, I admire and aspire!!!!

    Comparisons = self sabotage.
    Comparisons kill confidence because they put our self-worth on ameasuring stick. Our goal is to have a constant core of confidence that we carry with us wherever we go (STAND STRONG ON YOUR SQUARE).
    We want a confidence that is not situational, that ...

Our Story
We Need a Movement What if I said that there was a small group of urban entrepreneurs, educators, and community workers who had developed a plan to transform our conditions? That is, we could literally turn “hoods” back into neighborhoods? I am convinced that we can, and I’m betting everything I have on this plan. Give me 30 minutes of your time to show you that I have a structured plan for how we could feasibly begin the process of massive social change in the urban community. Not only can we do this, we can do this without funding, without outside help, without government assistance, and without some sort of miracle. If you’re not convinced, you won’t have to read another word about it. I just need 28 more minutes to show you that this is something that can work and I stand behind it. If you like what you read, all I will ask of you is that you lend us your blessing and whatever support you would like to offer. No obligation other than that. Click to read Our Story
